This is a good facility. Although it's never easy to have to utilize an assisted living center, it is sometimes necessary. We've been very pleased with each visit with our Grandpa/father at Brookdale. He has improved so much during the time he's been there. Also, the staff has been attentive during our visits and seemed to care about his progress. We are grateful he's been in a place we felt good about.
My mother was a recent resident at Brookdale and I am so grateful for the care and consideration she was given not only by the staff but the management. I appreciate the attention that was given to her well-being . The management as well as staff were deeply concerned with her Medical issues and comfort. Our family had great confidence in her care and this amazing facility.
My uncle was here for a couple of weeks. Had great care. He got stronger because the therapy team was awesome! I recommend these guys to anyone. Great staff, kind of people.
The nursing staff helped me get better. They know how to heal and the aides are so caring. Food is fantastic. I have been in a few other nursing homes and this place has the most time and love for me. They treat me like a person. I won't go anywhere else.
If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would do so. We have had so many issues with the care that my father is receiving from this facility. First of all, they didn't read the doctors orders, they did NOT put the ted hose on my dad's knee replacement let, didn't shower him for 6 days, and he got a skin sore because they didn't have a barrier between his skin and the brace. I have spoken to the staff, and some not all have been very rude. They give me attitude because they are in the wrong, and I am trying to make sure my dad gets adequate care and they don't want to do that. It's in your job description to read orders, pass along a good report to make sure that the next shift gives good patient care, and my heart breaks to hear my dad call me upset because the CNA staff is saying rude things about him and to him. His floor was mopped with water that smelled like urine because the house keeper didn't change the water from one room where there was a mess, to his room. It's horrible that this is a place is open to to "give care" to people. I, along with my family will be reporting this facility to the proper people. Changes need to be made, and they need to hire people who actually want to work and have compassion for another human being. Please find a better place to send your loved one. It's been a mistake for us, and we will be switching facilities ASAP.
